How is the GPPA financed?

GPPA is a non profit organisation. The capital to set up GPPA is provided by the founding members. GPPA running expenses should be financed through its own activities and annual membership fees.

GPPA members participate with own work in the operational committees without compensation. Members pay to GPPA service fees for training and testing of samples.

When was GPPA founded?

GPPA was launched in April 2007 at the Dubai Plast Pro conference and exhibition in the UAE. The intention is to form similar Plastics Pipe Academies in other parts of the world as well, where there is a need for them. GPPA’s founding members, supporting companies and GPPA employees will be active in education and training as well as arranging regional meetings to promote GPPA.

In 2009 the GPPA premises are planned to be ready giving the GPPA the infrastructure to successfully carry out its mission.

What will the GPPA do in its first year of operation?

Planned activities during 2007, 2008 and early 2009 will be communicated regularly to GPPA members and potential members by GPPA employees.
